Austin Pines Ranch provides a continuum of substance use disorder treatment for adults age 18 and older serving Greater Austin and Central Texas, including medically supervised detox, residential inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), and outpatient support when clinically appropriate.

We welcome individuals who satisfy the following requirements:
Inpatient admission guidelines
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have a substance use concern that may benefit from inpatient treatment
- You can complete a reasonable level of self-care, including eating, grooming, and maintaining your living space
- You are willing to participate voluntarily in a structured treatment environment and work toward recovery
Outpatient admission guidelines
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are medically and clinically appropriate for outpatient care and willing to complete requested admission screening
- You are willing to participate in a treatment plan developed with your clinical team

When you contact Admissions, our team will listen to your needs, explain the available levels of care, verify benefits when requested, and help coordinate an appropriate arrival plan.

Get in touch
You will be connected with an admissions representative when calling us for a confidential & personal consultation. Our representative will conduct a pre-screening getting to know you and your specific needs to make sure we are aligned to meet your needs in treating your addiction before creating a plan of action.
Insurance verification
We will ask for your Insurance information if you have coverage. Our insurance checks are always free & confidential. Upon verification of benefits, our representative will go over the details with you.
Pre-admission assessment
Our admissions representative will conduct a confidential pre-admission assessment to better understand your health history, substance use, current needs, and treatment goals. This information helps our clinical team recommend an appropriate level of care and prepare an individualized plan.
Set a date and travel coordination
Schedule your arrival date and time with Admissions. Whether you are coming from Greater Austin, elsewhere in Central Texas, or another region, the team can help you plan your arrival. Ask Admissions about currently available transportation assistance and travel coordination.
Arrive at Austin Pines Ranch
Your admissions representative will communicate closely with you and/or your loved ones (preferred contacts) throughout your admission into our program at Austin Pines Ranch. An Austin Pines Ranch Intake Coordinator will be awaiting your arrival at our recovery ranch to greet and welcome you. Our Intake Coordinator and Nursing Staff will commence your intake admissions as soon as you arrive in order to get you settled in comfortably. A personalized welcome package will be awaiting you once the intake process is completed.
Your first days
Your medical and clinical evaluations help the team finalize your initial treatment plan and orient you to the program. You will meet your assigned therapist within the first 24 hours and be introduced to other members of your care team, which may include nursing, case management, medical, and recovery-support professionals. The team will also help address practical needs, continued-care planning, and approved communication with loved ones.
